I still use prepaid recharge for my phone. Whenever the validity is about to end, a week prior, I keep getting hundreds of SMS asking me to recharge soon. But these reminder messages go silent one day before the expiry. The validity gets over at 11:59pm and my data and calls stop working by 12:01am the next day. When I wake up, I will not even realise that the plan has expired. Even whatsapp messages stop working. When I go to make a payment, it will not work. By around 9:30 or 10am I get a message that my plan has expired. So from early morning till 9am, I will be wondering what went wrong. So to avoid this problem, I may go for recharging my phone at least 3 days well in advance. This is the plan of the telecom company!
Today morning my plan was about to expire. So, I had put a reminder in my calendar. The reminder came up. I disconnected from my home wifi on my phone to check if the internet on my phone is working or not. The mobile internet had stopped working. Now, I connected back to wifi to recharge my account. And the internet is not working. When I checked my home wifi, it was showing red light, which meant the internet is not working. I turned off / on my router 3 times. Same red light and no signal. I did a hard reset using the button on the router. No signal. Finally, I reached my work place and requested a colleague to give me data for a couple of minutes and did the recharge! When things have to go wrong, they surely go wrong!
