Back in the school days, quite near our school, we had one Annapoorna sweets shop. It was a kind of bakery cum sweet shop. They mainly sold sweets. And they sold some of the best samosas during those days.
There was no seating space there. We had to stand and order. They would give one samosa in a plate alongwith chutney and sauce mixed together. Evening 4pm onwards, they’d make these samosas. Dad used to get these samosas sometimes while coming back from the office. I guess they cost 7-8 rupees, later they increased to 10 rupees. They shut the shop almost 7-8 years ago. Now there is a flower shop on the same there. I think they did not shift anywhere else but just shut the shop. They shut the shop even before google maps became a thing. These old places which no more exist deserve a place somewhere. So that’s why I’m documenting here.
